Value Education

It is essential that students imbibe the appropriate values commensurate with social, cultural, economic and environmental realities, at the local, national and universal levels.Value based education is one of the main goals of the Institution. To achieve this goal, the practices followed are: -

»Celebration of the Eucharist: At the beginning of each year an inaugural Mass/prayer service is celebrated to invoke God`s blessing for the new academic year. A thanksgiving prayer is also celebrated at the end of the academic year to thank God for His bountiful blessings and guidance.

»Every day half an hour is allotted for Value Education class.

»The Student Trainees during their practice teaching devote one class only for Value Education. This is a practice followed only in this Institution.

»Occasional guest talks.
